Amber Portwood was released from prison earlier this month and the “Teen Mom” announced some big plans for her life. Aside from going to college and leaving the world of reality television behind, Amber revealed plans to regain joint custody of her daughter, Leah. However, a Nov. 25 report claims the former “Teen Mom” is jealous of one of her former co-stars and plans on getting on her level. Unfortunately, since she is reportedly talking about Farrah Abraham, getting on her level is not a good thing.
The reports claim that a source spoke to Star Magazine and said about Amber, “She is dead broke and incredibly envious of Farrah. Amber brags that she can make a sex tape actually worth watching.”
Prior to going to prison, Amber Portwood was actually offered a deal to make an adult film. At one point before her legal troubles, the “Teen Mom” star was reportedly offered a $500,000 deal with Vivid Entertainment. Keen “Teen Mom” fans may notice that Vivid is the same company which released Farrah Abraham’s 2013 adult film. Amber Portwood’s reported offer came in 2011 before her legal woes. Amber decided to turn down the offer back then, but shortly before going to prison, reports started to circulate which suggested Amber Portwood was reconsidering the offer. At that time, however, Vivid was unwillingly to offer her the same $500,000 pay day.
Is Amber Portwood really considering the adult film offer again? This seems like a crazy rumor, especially when the other details from the latest report are factored into the equation. Although she emerged from prison looking happy and healthier than ever, the source reportedly went on to tell the magazine that Amber is trying hard to get back in shape, including trimming down her figure.
The source went on to say, “Amber takes a lot of diet pills at once to cut her hunger and make her feel like she is on speed, but the pills don’t show up on her random drug tests...Right now, she has her family fooled that she’s changed, but she is the same old Amber.”’
After being released from prison after serving a little over a year of her five year sentence, Amber Portwood was placed on probation with some strict guidelines. This includes having to pass random drug tests or face going back to prison. Obviously, diet pills are not exactly illegal, but they aren’t exactly healthy either.
Since her release, her family has maintained that Amber Portwood has turned over a new leaf. Even Gary Shirley, who is the father of Amber’s daughter, seems to be getting along with her. The two filmed together for an upcoming MTV special and have been spotted and about together with their daughter (although they assure fans they are not getting back together, but only getting along for their daughter.)
Then, there is the fact that Amber Portwood’s biggest supporter, her brother Shawn Portwood, has a strong dislike for Farrah Abraham. He does not support her decision to go into the adult entertainment business or her line of sex toys. If his sister was to go down the same path, he would likely not be very happy.
At the end of the day, there seems to be very little truth to these claims. Fresh out of prison, Amber Portwood is an easy target for people who want to spread vicious rumors.
